Trip Advice: medicine is only sold at the pharmacy and they have specific hours. 2nd tip: Rest up and took a nap in a museum to save up my strength for my Last Super Appointment. 3rd tip: Tickets sell fast, for the Last Super you need to book them about a month and a half out. If you know the actual site when I got there the museum said to tourist coming in they were sold out for two weeks out.
I arrived in Milan, quite sick as I fell ill that morning traveling. But very thankful my host Airbnb had some ramen chick soup that he gave me and I tried to pick up some medicine at a grocery store but all they had was some cough drops, this Vitamin C fizz thing, and orange juice.
My Airbnb was on the outskirts of Milan, but easy access via metro so it was too far for me to head back in the middle of the day prior to my appointment. I figured the Museum was my best bet to recoup while traveling by myself, you have to pay to get in, and it was quite and out of the heat. Although one of the museum workers did eventually get concerned w/ how long I was there and how out of it I was, but he realized I just needed some rest and I’m very thankful they didn’t kick me out! Lol!
…And oh my! Seeing the Last Super Painting, a dream of mine to see it in person since I studied it in AP Art History in High School… simply incredible!!! ;D Adrenaline kicked in and my cold subsided for the brief 15 mins of visit, simply not enough time and I’ll have to go back! ;)
